We are a small business based in Oxfordshire, dedicated to formulating and manufacturing specialised vitamins for pets. Born as a spin-off from The Oxford Health Company, our journey began when we saw a need for tailored pet nutrition. Our own pets required specific formulations to address their unique health concerns, and we realised we had both the knowledge and access to high-quality ingredients to create effective, science-backed supplements.

What do our Joint & Bones Tablets contain?
For dogs that love to run, jump and play, joint degeneration can have a huge impact on their physical and mental well-being. While not all joint problems are preventable, involving joint aid supplements is a sensible investment for the future, as these contain the key ingredients to support healthy joints. Suitable for dogs of any age, breed or size, as soon as they have started solid food. The tasty liver flavoured tablets can be added to your dogs food or taken directly from your hand.
Glucosamine is a natural sugar that exists in the fluid around the joints, as well as in animal bones, bone marrow, shellfish, and fungi. Dogs produce their own glucosamine, the majority of which is found in the cartilage and is needed for healthy flexible joints. Glucosamine has been shown to support cartilage growth, while also reducing inflammation in animals.
Green Lipped Mussel or Perna canaliculus is called as such due to its vivid blue-green shells. Green Lipped Mussels are a natural source of Omega 3 fatty acids. Dietary intake of Omega 3 fatty acids has been shown to support mobility and ability the of dogs to perform normal daily physical activity.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant, and a vital component needed to make collagen and elastin. Collagen is found in the connective tissues found in joints, while elastin is a protein used to make elastic connective tissue.
Manganese is a micromineral or trace mineral, which your dog’s body needs in small amounts and which acts to support healthy joints and cartilage, especially when paired with Glucosamine and Chondroitin.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by dogs. Hyaluronic Acid is found in all bones and cartilage structures throughout the body in mammals. HA is especially found in various forms of cartilage but none more than the hyaline cartilage. Hyaline cartilage covers the ends of the long bones where articulation (bending) occurs and provides a cushioning effect for the bones.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is compound found naturally in plants, animals and humans. The compound has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Turmeric has been used by many cultures for hundreds of years and is thought to have both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help with joint health in humans. While studies haven’t been done to assess its full potential in dogs, holistic veterinarians and pet nutritionists encourage pet parents to use this herb to help.
